Got it this afternoon and was able to get some shots thru it and very pleased so far! Barrel length is 4 5/8.
Shooting some .44 Special loads I put together using Missouri Bullets coated 240 gr. loaded over 7 gr. of Unique, the target below
was 12 yds. shooting one handed from standing position.
A bit of trigger creep wasn't helping much but very satisfied when I could get three ragged holes and sights were untouched!
Had other loads to shoot but didn't have much time and got about 50 mixed rounds thru it.
Will be having fun with this one as it will be a NICE companion to my Henry steel .44 Carbine

Pretty revolver and nice shootin'! Thanks for sharing and keep us posted on all of it: loadings, range results, etc.

It's a beauty!

Nice shooting. To me the Bisley grip and hammer are a lot better than the standard grip and hammer. I think that your load is one of Skeeter Skelton's favorites or very close to it.

Yes that particular load is just a 1/2 gr. under the famous Skeeter load.
Another load was same bullet loaded with 8 gr. of Power Pistol and also the Lyman 429215 GC 230 gr. bullet with 7.7 gr. of
Unique which shot well too.
One thing I do like is that my Henry .44 Carbine, SBH .44 Mag and this new .44 Special Bisley all like that MB coated 230 bullet
in Magnum or Special!

Those darker wood grips and good-looking grain patterns sure are beautiful on your revolver.
Glad you were pleased with your sharp-shooting --- especially with yet untouched sights.
