I recently bought a Henry 24" .22. It seemed to like Norma Tac 22 best. And today I put a scope on it and took it back the range for more testing.
I'm shooting from a bench with a support under the action (not the forearm)
The rifle has a Leo 1.5-5x20 scope mounted (nice squirrel gun set-up!)
Shots fired into 6" Shoot-N-See targets very slow fire, between heart beats.
Your results will may vary - ever .22 has it own quirks and preferences.

I shoot Lever Action Silhouette - these tests are to determine which ammo to use in the future.

At 50 yards:
Norma Match .22........1/2" group
CCI Standard Velocity..3/8"
SK Flat Nose..............5/8"
Blazer.....................2"
CCI Tac...................1"
Fed AutoMatch..........3"
Eley Force................5/16" !!! (I would call it 1/4", but its just one ragged hole. Yea, the expensive stuff shoots good!)

I'll use Eley for important matches and Norma for monthly matches.
I wobble all over the place - honestly some days I should just use AutoMatch and enjoy the outing. But ever so often I settle in and shoot well - that is when the Eley will come into play.

Is that CCI SV at 3/8" correct or a typo? If it's correct, you have a winner at a bargain price.

nice squirrel gun set-up, indeed .... your results with a wide range of ammo speak well of your rifle and your ability to fire it

Yes, that is correct. I've used CCI Standard Vel for some time know and I've found it uncommonly accurate.
But, Eley Force has an advantage - it is higher vel and is less affected by wind drift at 100 yards. Should mean higher scores, but if you account for my wobble then the field is level again (I can miss with any ammo!).

Thanks. Your results with CCI SV mirror mine. Have had a few guns that did not like it, but the majority have done very well with it. Tough to beat for the money.
