Hey Guys,

Seems me and Ranchroper had a similar afternoon. Putting up a report the same day as him is like releasing a movie the same weekend as superhero's blockbuster :D

Anyway, Rough Rider @ 12yds I would guess. I am also resting on a table.

I have never shot any pistol or revolver well; never came up with a technique. I have never shot this one well at all; never "figured out the sights", it seemed. Maybe some of you had a similar situation where a gun that wasn't your favorite suddenly started producing, with maybe one or two changes.

So here it is, three cylinders; 18 rounds @ 12 yards resting. Not Ranchroper or North Country Girl stuff, but at least I know how the gun is suppose to be shot. BTW, I did bend the front sight slightly and put red on the tip. Also took all the black off the rear sight with emery paper. I think that was the turning point. :)

Nothing wrong with that target, I'd be happy with it. I think a .22 revolver would be pretty fun to shoot. I shot a pretty nice revolver target today but don't worry I have lots that suck to keep things in perspective...

Good target results. Always fun when the gun and range time come together!! :)

Which cylinder did you shoot --- .22LR or .22 WMR.
If I recall from my combo-cylinder HRR 6.5" Johnny Boy revolver, the calibers shot differently.

yeah PT7 the POI can change with a wide variety of loads, in this case from shorts to magnums. It's been so long since I shot magnums out of this gun I don't remember how far the POI drifts, but it's not far.

I should have said that this day I was shooting CCI Quiets.

Another vote from me on good shooting. Well done. As you just demonstrated, shooting a handgun of any kind is always a work in progress. There's always something more to try and always something new to learn. You're on your way!
