PT7 - 2nd Range Report for .357 BBS Carbine

Easy to say.
I have no hesitation at all recommending this Henry rifle model/caliber to any Henry lover.
My two Henrys are both Carbines, and it is a real pleasure to shoot either one!

Went out with the .357 Magnum for its second range time today. Here is how the Carbine and I did together.

I like this 4 mini-target challenge, and have used it with my SGC. Starting today will keep using this with the Big Boy. It really helps me focus in on "the first shot." As you can tell, I didn't make the grade today with shots 1-4. But I was determined, and re-did my self test. Second round of four POIs was better.

Plain-Jane 8" splash also picked up some decent POIs. The Carbine is a smooth and accurate shooter!

Looks Good PT. I have said this before but if I had to do it all over again the carbines are all I would own. I do however like my 20 inch barrel steel in 41. I only have one full length brass model in 357 but if I could have a do over it would be in carbine model. I like you really like the carbine models. After this weekend Im like SH I think the SGC in 22 and 22 mag are the best 22 levers out there.

I'm with you, PT. I like carbines, especially for my offhand work. In a 357, not much to be gained by going with a long barrel, anyway, other than a longer sighting radius if you're shooting iron. Nice work.

I have always liked carbines of any type. The Henry SGC in .22LR is one of my favorites. Nice shooting.
