I haven't posted much in a few days but that doesn't mean I haven't been shooting. This is my backyard range where I can take a few minutes time out and shoot. This picture was taken yesterday and yes that is green grass. This picture was taken from about 22 yards but if I shoot all the way from the back of the shed it is a full 25 yards.

Oh, what did I shoot? This springer. No great targets to post as this range trip was a low production outing.

Gene, I'm delighted that you're just shooting, period. Good for you and thank-you for posting about air guns, too. Nice to have another air gun shooter, posting. (I sometimes worry that I overdo it on my air gun posts.)

I'm shooting, too, but with high temps for the day a few degrees on either side of zero in this long cold spell, it's been all air guns, now, and mostly inside, of course, though I do take a few shots, outside, now and then on the spinner targets to keep them working in this cold. Yeah, at these temps, metal spinner targets can get sticky or even just plain stuck.

You and I both know about the P1 (HW45) since we both own one. It's a world of its own. Has to be the toughest to shoot, well, pistol I've ever owned, thanks to the recoil, but it's also one of the best built pistols I've ever owned. It's a true air gun classic, but also a challenge. Usually takes me a few range sessions before I can get back in the accuracy groove with my P1(HW45). When I'm on, though, it will really smack those spinner targets.

Thanks Joanie, sometimes I'll just plink for ten minutes and then go about my daily chores. This is my side target and it is mainly for bb guns. Surprisingly it gets the most use with my Red Ryder.

Not surprised at all. Convenience is a HUGE factor for shooting, especially at home. I have a set of spinner targets placed out in the snow at only 12 yards and, when I'm in the urge, I just slide back our deck door and take a few shots with one of the springers I keep handy (one is the P1/HW45). Only take half a dozen shots for the sake of not letting too much cold air come in the house, but that half a dozen shots does count as shooting.

Love seeing you at your home range. That pistol is a beauty.

Havent seen one of those flying red horses in a while. Bet that one is faster than Badger. Nice to see those Seahawk Green prairie dogs are still target available. I gotta ask about the teardrop trailer just to be nosey Gene. Is that like an all weather gazebo now?

That looks like a really nice air gun.

Nice set up for the airguns. Glad you are putting it to use.

Yes that cover protects the teardrop from the rain. In its old age it was beginning to leak.

I have the Beeman RS2 dual caliber with the case. The scope is set up for the .22 and the open sights are setup for the .177. I practice hold and breath control with them several times a week to help with my Big Boy. It is nice that I can even shoot indoors with it and don't have to drive nearly an hour to get to a range. A lever action repeating pellet rifle would be perfect if anyone made them!
