BBS 357 with Skinner LoPro

I have installed the Skinner LoPro rear peep and filed down the Henry front sight to achieve a low profile sight picture. The shots are all using Armsco 158 grain full jacket flat nosed. The first target was shot at about 40 yds.from a bench rest. The second at 25 yds freehand.

Obviously, I need to drift the front sight a little. But quite pleased with the result. I posted in the 'Sights' thread about the installation and adjustments. Well on the way to getting my idea of a good hunting rig set up.

Again, I want to thank all of you that have discussed sights and figuring things out.

Weather was about 80 degrees with about a 15 mph cross wind. I doubt it affected much.

Fine offhand work, there. I like the Lo Pro. Can't get any more basic in a peep sight and love the way it fits just about any rifle.

X2, Cofisher. Those .357 POIs are gathered together real purdy in that off hand target.

Great job as you wrote about this in your install thread, too.
You have a really cool sight system in place now on your Henry.

Thank you both. I have never done this before and am very excited about it. After I learn how to use this rifle well, it is on to reloading for the 357. Like you PT7, I also have the SP101 in 4 1/2" 357. This carbine and revolver should last my life and be a treasure for my kids.

Nice shooting for any iron sight. I have tried my friends with the Skinner sights and am impressed, if I had better eyesight I would get them.
