To own a rifle or shotgun, one has to go through an extensive hunter and gun safety course, takes a while to complete. You can own a shotgun & rifle but not a handgun. The town they live in is in the progress of building an indoor range. So when it’s finished my son is going to go through the course, my grandson & granddaughter are 10 & 4 so it’ll be awhile for them to start.
