The State of CT Shooting Range

Post by CT_Shooter » Mon Jul 07, 2025 10:14 am

It had been way too long, so I finally reserved a lane for last Saturday morning and took my Six Guns to the range. The targets were at 10 yards and I was sitting, shooting with both hands. Even though I took my time between shots, I didn't do all that well. I've scored much better (yeah, and much worse, too).

Regardless, it was a no pressure, all pleasure solo trip. In the afternoon, I had fun cleaning and checking for loose screws. ;)

Sometimes that is the most rewarding - no pressure pleasure, just to be there.

Seems to me that someone would not walk away from that encounter. Nice shooting!

Nice shooting CT. I find it to be great therapy even if the shots don’t go were you intended them to.

Looks good to me! Hey, love the Uberti six shooters. I need to get my Smokewagon 357 out for some shooting. Been awhile. Same for my Pietta Frontier 357. Hard to break away from the Ruger 357s, though.

Those low left shots are pretty typical for us right handed shooters. That target looks very familiar. :D

Any range time is a great time and looks like you had some good hits. Not much shooting here on my end but plenty of grass cutting when it don't rain!

Haven't been able to do much shooting, as much as I'd like to, but congrats for finding the time. Like the others said, anything in the black is a win, as well as any time spent on the range instead of in the recliner.
