Range Report: Texas Bond
Instead of coffee this morning I decided to have Oolong tea. I must have set the temperature on the boiler to boil instead of 160 degrees because it was bitter. Oh well I had fun shooting the Bond in the early morning light.
I was aiming for the 10x50 foot berm and I hit it twice. This is a difficult pistol to aim and shoot.

Hit the broad side of the berm? Lol

I've never shot one, but I suspect I could throw one with more accuracy.

Yes, I have found the trigger pull on my Davis D-38 to be heavy. I figured that it was due to the exposed trigger. But, the pull has lighten, as I oil it and it wears in.

Re: Range Report: Texas Bond
The big problem with the Bond is you pull the trigger down more than back.

Never shot one either but Ive always thought that trying to shoot one would not be fun from what I have read about the trigger

You could shoot someone three feet away from under the card table.

Best card table gun I ever saw was the one Wyatt had in Tombstone

Re: Range Report: Texas Bond
I had a little derringer in 22 mag. for a good while, the extraction was always sticky.
The youngest daughter always liked it, so for her 18th birthday I gave it to her.
Never had the desire to replace it, now I'm not much of a snub-nose kinda guy but I'd buy one before I'd buy another derringer.
