Just me and my Henry Evil Roy along the creek yesterday..

Typical Va. weather sunny and 60's one day and cold rain the next but was able to grab a sweet Friday afternoon down at my range.
A much needed relief for just some easy rimfire plinking and thinking.... I brought along the Henry .22 EV Carbine and my 12 shooter Uberti revolver and a box of .22 Shorts. Plinking at my steel targets and my old converted windshield wiper arm spring target gave plenty of fun. Then just a hike along the creek and just plinking at things along the walk it is old time fun to shoot a couple rounds into the creek and hear the loud whomp when the round hits
the water in the distance! Of course the paper target with green rounds from 25 yds with the Carbine and the ones to the left about 18 yds. with the 12 shooter. Not bad and just a FUN February afternoon!

Yep the end of January was rough for us with my brother passing away and then the flu we all got. Just being down there was GREAT healing medicine and I love my little piece of woods!

Looks like a wonderful day and well deserved too. with envy up here in the cold and snow. (But I won’t be this spring when the humidity hits so enjoy )

I have as much fun with a rimfire as I do a centerfire anymore. Ruger 10/22 and a green dot are alot of fun. Glad you got out Forty probably was good for the soul.
