Very nice work. Would love to see some pics of that FA.
It's now wearing the 45 Colt brass bead front sight, not the 454c front sight, as shown in these pics.

Gratuitous pics of the 715
On to the next.
Henry BBX .357 with my hand-me-down 158 LSWC at 50yds. To be honest, these are not the best. I think I lacked enough flare on the case when seating. I've since swapped out (45colt) for a redding two-step expander over Lee powder through expansion. I'll need to swap out my lee for my reading expansion die. I bet the result of the Lee expansion die was a lot of shaved bullets. These were difficult to keep on target. Even though they averaged 969.0 fps over 21 shots and an SD of 20.2
These two groups are 20 rounds of the 38spl; I fired over 300 at various dots with similar results.
I suppose another factor could be the increased bullet jump for 38spl, compared to 357 mag.
My aim point here is the 0. I used American Eagle 158grn 357 mag. For having a squidgy aim point I could barely see, this isn't a bad 10 shot group. Two on the far right are from another dot. I used these 10 shots to clean any lead build up from those 300 158grn LSWC out of the barrel.
The second group of 357 mag.
In my third group, 6 shots (all I had loaded) 180 grain Hornaday XTP, 1075.1 FPS average, SD of 6.4
Both the 357 mag and the 45 colt hit the swinger target with authority. Pay no attention to the legs in the target, really, honest it was not me. Grumble grumble family sighting in their rifles, brand new fricken target.
