Ruger LC .45

I had about all the "tactical" I could stand 56 years ago in a faraway land but when I saw the little LC was chambered in .45ACP I bit on it. Being a 1911 fan I already have everything needed to load .45's. I took her to the range today and got the irons sighted in. I tried XTP's in 185, 200 and 230 grains over BE86 and 200 grain cast SWC's with light and heavier charges of 231 along with some 230 gr. round nose cast. Everything cycled well and the little rascal is surprisingly accurate for me with the fold up factory sights. I have a Burris FastFire III and an AR base looking for a home and mounting that will improve my shooting even more. The only complaint is the trigger could stand to be lighter and cleaner but after the "takeup" the actual break is very crisp and clean. Botttom line? I like it!

Like you I have all the right stuff to load for one of those and I looked at reviews on Youtube. I like it well enough one thing that kept me from buying one was the price. Maybe they have come down some now. Ive got a 40S&W in a PC carbine I like real well. There is only one draw back to these toys. Im kinda tired of chasin brass if you know what I mean

Local dealer just got two of these in. They had a 5.7 which I have no interest in and it was listed for $819. The .45's were on sale for $749 and why they would put the first couple of .45's they got on sale beats me.

45 ACP carbines are just plain fun to shoot! Added the Bullpup stock to my HiPoint 45 and much handier to handle and shoot. I made up a mount on the sight rail to attach my brass catcher so now no issue with looking for the spent brass and you can screw on the suppressor if you want. No problems yet and if it wasn't so darn hot I would be plinking today! Guess I could lug the portable 2200 generator down there and run the A/C shooting out the range shack.

I suspect that Ruger is giving dealers a break/kickback on their cost to increase sales. They need to get some buzz going about this gun in the shooting community. All about market share & strategy for the time being.

Forty...I have no experience with a bullpup but have to wonder...for those of us that have better luck growing hair on the bottom of our heads than on the top...is there any chance of getting a whisker stuck in there

I never have, but I suppose it could depend on the how bushy your beard is. Mine is fairly short as beards go.
