Ruger 10/22 LVT
Ruger 10/22 LVT
I recently bought this while in texas and picked it up after I got home and waiting the stupid 3 day waiting period to pick it up. Took it to the range today to sight in the Cyelee Green dot sight I put on it. Im shooting from the bench at about 40 yards give or take. I took 4 different ammo's with with me. First I zeroed it in which didnt take to much as I had bore sighted there dot at home. My I put bigger dots on the target to try and get a little finer bead on the target as the 3 moa dot does a good jog of covering up the smaller dots on this target. 6 oclock dot has Federal 36gr HP Field and Target white box. 9 oclock target is CCI mini mag 36gr HP. 12 oclock is Remington Golden Bullet which I wish I would of shot that one again as the sun hits this target from the left side. It makes it a little hard to pick up at times mid day. 3 oclock is Aguila 40gr high velocity copper plated. Agulia and the CCI stuff shot good. I shot it a second time on another target. The second pic is of that target. CCI at 6 and Aguila at center. This Ruger shoots very well. I like the BX trigger upgrade to. Its a fun rifle to plink with and shoot offhand. I should have take more targets with me to plink at but I did have fun shooting a tennis ball and a dueling tree. Lat pick is the rifle itself its a keeper. Love my 10/22's

This one here Randy. I have about 4000 rounds of it. My pistols dont like it but this rifle does. No jams today either. Gun functioned flawlessly and the Ruger trigger upgrade is great.

Good shooting and a nice looking rig! I've never shot Aguila ammo but at 6 cents a pop I may have to look into it.

My buddy Amos up near St. Louis turned me on to it.
Paid $99.99 plus tax and had free shipping.
I haven't tried it in the 22/45, but it shoots well in the 3 rifles I tried it in.

Nice shooting Al. Not surprised your LVT did as well as it did. That BX trigger sure makes a difference, wish my had one.

Re: Ruger 10/22 LVT
Nice shooting for sure, Al. Very good accuracy using a red dot. Should be even better with a scope. Any plans to scope it? Either way, looks like a keeper 10/22 to me.

Re: Ruger 10/22 LVT
Thanks All. NCG no plans for a scope at this time. I do have a 10/22 with a scope on it a 3x9 Burris drop tine. It has a carbon fiber barrel on it with the laminated stock that comes with the target barrel. I wanted a 22 I can just plink with and not use a scope besides the Henry leverguns I have
