If it became the official plinking thread would that mean we would use individual threads for shooting paper? And certainly if someone wanted to make their own more complex plinking thread that would be okay too.

I started the thread simply because how I was shooting didn’t deserve a new thread each time.

Oh, just me thinking out loud, so to speak. :) Not sure we have to go all official on a plinking thread. Regardless of what we do, I think Henry 22 lever guns are a great fit for such a thread, certainly right there with other 22 lever guns.

I was thinking the same thing. What I was really saying was if a person wanted to make their own thread that would be fine too. I may at times make a new thread if I have something more to say than I shot ten shots at a gong. If I do I’ll still post on the plinking thread if that’s all I do.

That is a very nice plinker NCG! I enjoy shooting the CB's long and short in my Henry lever and pump action more than the standard LR ammo.
Very relaxing and no ear plugs to mess with. If I want heavy plink there is always the 45 Colt X model "whisper" shooter!

Nice rifle NCG. My local gun store has had a couple of those go through the store this last year. Looks like it shoots good.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone.

Really got this one to contribute more to your ongoing daily plinking thread. Personally, I think we should crown your thread as the official, ongoing daily plinking thread. maybe give it it's own forum category.
That certainly could happen.

All those in favor?
Sounds like a great idea.

That’s an awesome rifle and I love the scope.

My wife’s first rifle was the youth stocked version of the BL-22. Grade 1 like yours and magnificent looking. Unfortunately she had trouble lowering the hammer and once had an accidental discharge. No damage other than to the pasture as she practices excellent muzzle control. We moved her out of the Browning and into a bolt action. I considered ordering a full size buttstock for it and taking it over but in the end I sold in on the local site.

Congrats on your new “plinker” and we will enjoy the reports.
