Range time! 20 rounds down range at an 8" steel swinging plate. Some other guy brought it. It is fun ringing that gong! I lost count ringing it but the other guy counted 18 hits out of 20. I'll take that at 50 yds off hand standing with stock sights.

The paper target is my Cimarron Richards conversion revolver.
20 yds standing, one hand. TGR: I tried your grip tips. Better results, at least I'm on the paper! I marked my hits with an X. 17 rounds out of 20. 3 went into the backboard. All are Winchester 250 gr LFN. My favorite ammo. SLOWLY starting to figure out the revolver a little. Not a bad day. :)

The other hits on the paper were the gong guy shooting his 1911 and might be a few 9mm hits too. I wasn't really paying attention after I marked mine, I went to shoot my Henry.

50 yds on steel plates for the Henry.

20 yds for the revolver on paper. I could shoot 50 yds with the revolver, but no idea where the bullets would go. :)

Thks. Miles to go yet to tighten up groups but at least I can work on developing good habits. I tried to squeeze trigger slowly and let the bang surprise me. It works way better when I do. Those were the ones near the middle. The others were me bracing against the expected bang and recoil.
