Evening Sir Henry,
Haven't seen Norma Tac22, but will look on line for some. Thanks for the heads up, and I'm enjoying the Henry's longer barrel,= weight. feels good.
Thanks again

I use SK Standard Plus in all my .22's, and it works well. It's not the cheapest, but I have found it to be by far the best compromise between the cheap but unpredictable ammo and the predictable but silly expensive ammo.

Then again, we don't have the same choice of ammunition that you have. ;)

Tried some CCI SV.....Aguila SV and some federal automatch......I'll get 2-3 touching then next 2 touching 3/8" out of group...Scope not loose nor rings....Is it maybe the cover is not as stable so that POI changes?

That sounds like my shooting. For me it is because I haven't lined up aiming it the same way and is parallax.

I didn't list distance ....25yards so 3/8" out of group is pretty bad.....read about cold affecting groups by making bullet lube harder or something to that affect....scope has AO down to 15 yards.......and I couldn't see well without the AO..so must be me. Next range time I'll sort out actual lead diameter? any other suggestions welcomed. Also I realize this is no BR gun but still like consistency.
Thanks
