Yesterday down at the range doing some grass cutting and saved some time to shoot my Henry pump action. This time wanted to see what I could do from 50 yds. Shooting position was kneeling with elbow on knee supporting rifle and using either CCI Mini Mags or the 22 Short CB's.
Looking at target plate the hot Mini Mags went high and left while the CB's were close to on target with couple red zone hits. Not bad since the red dot on target was same size as the front sight bead at that distance. Not being the best long distance paper puncher but I did take out 3 of the clay targets! Great way to finish off a little range work!
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

I agree, nice shooting, especially with the shorts at 50 yds.
