Guys, my new CZ 452 is just ridiculous accurate. Here are my two best 3 shot groups from today, both at 100 yards:
Ammo was Rifle Match:

When I ordered the 452, I expected it to be a good shooter, but not THAT good. I have very little experience trying to make small groups of holes in paper. To be honest, I don't really enjoy doing it all that much. But this rifle is actually making it fun. The Rifle Match ammo seemed to shoot better today than Eley Club. I also tried some RWS, but it seemed to be less accurate than the Eley.

It is just wrong to call those three shot groups because they are almost just one hole!
Nice shooting.

That is great shooting but I'm going to challenge you to shoot ten shots next time.

Ten shots? I dunno- that ammo is kinda pricey. If you look, I had to buy a target with a penny stuck to it, as it was cheaper than the ones with dimes on them.

Now that was funny.

Okay, I will compromise, but it's gotta be baby steps. We can try five shots instead of three next time. I'm gonna have to get me some targets with quarters on them, though.
By the way, that "Rifle Match" ammo, is that the brand name? It's made in Germany, and says nammo.com on it. On the nammo website, though, their brands are SK and Lapua. EDIT: Duh. Looked at the box again. It's kinda small, but says SK on it.

Yes it is made by SK in Germany. Someone had a thread about Wolf ammo that was made in Germany. Wolf is made by SK. If you get a chance can you post a closeup picture of the headstamp?

If you look at picture of the box I posted, the hole in the middle of the target has the head stamp of a round showing. I guess it's supposed to show a target with crosshairs over it?

Great POIs in those targets, Ditto! One hundred yards can be a challenge sometimes; it surely is for me with my elder eyes and iron sights. Were you shooting from a bench rest, or off hand?
I tend to shoot as you said:
"I have very little experience trying to make small groups of holes in paper. To be honest, I don't really enjoy doing it all that much." Lately I've had some good, tight groups with my revolver, and getting a little tighter with my SGC. Tagging holes together, however, is cool. I'd like to experience a little more of that at times, but I know off hand shooting lessens that happening for me. I'd actually would like to put some holes in coins, too.
Anyway, you done good! Thanks for the good range report. Glad you enjoy that accurate-shootin' CZ!
