10/18/16_Range Report_Slug "Plinking"

Post by PT7 » Tue Oct 18, 2016 6:57 pm

Never before considered shooting 20-ga shotgun slugs to be "plinking."
But that is exactly what I did this beautiful fall afternoon (sunny & mild 69*) at the MDC Parma Woods.
Sent 32 rounds of 5/8 oz. & 3/4 oz. slugs down range into paper targets....just for the fun of it!

Thanks for another cool range report, PT7. Glad you had some "plinking" fun with your shotgun and gave us some great pictures of it and your targets!

Nice shootin'. I might just have to take my shotgun to the range.

Thanks, SH.
Just do it....shooting a s/g is a blast!
I do fairly often as I rotate taking my guns to the range. Easy to do a three-gun rotation having one Henry SGC, PUMP, and a revolver.

The yet-to-arrive Bond Arms derringer will bring the fourth occupant into my gun cabinet. When that day comes, the others will just have to wait their turn to get out and shout, er....shoot! :)
