Yankee Thunder clay hangers........

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Jul 25, 2023 1:57 pm

Saw an ad on F'book where Yankee Thunder had a deal for 30 of these simple hangers for 25 bucks so I placed the order.
Got them today and they lock on to the clay rim really tight and all you need is a piece of 1 inch conduit to hang them.
Will set some up and give them a shot on next range trip.

They are a lot of fun. I picked some up about 3 months ago and have been shooting clay birds with pistols and rifles, Makes for a more interesting day than just punching holes in paper.

I threw this together this morning using pieces of 2X4 I had laying around. Bought a 10 ft. piece of conduit and cut it to 5 ft. so have a spare in case it gets shot up. The ends slide off the pipe for easy setup and take down. Can get quite a few swinging clays on there.

that does look like fun. I'm sure if I tried, Miss Tina would tell me clay pigeons are bad for the cows. LOL. I have a bunch of pepper poppers and swinging steel I shoot, but we used to line up the clay on the berms when I was a kids and shoot those. They didn't swing, but were still fun to break. Especially long range with the 10-22s.
