Went to the range with a friend trying some loads with my 444 Marlin. Man it was fun, pretty good kick in this rifle but managable I shot around 30rounds totally about half in bench and that felt a bit more in the shoulder.
Bullet I tried is my homecast from my Noe 267gr ( i call them 265gr its more like 275gr) RNFP, mold gaschecked bullet, sized to .432 alloy 16bhn, lube homecocked 50/50 weightratio with beeswax and molybden grease. Same bullet I use for my 44mag henry. I Dont want to publish my loads but used ranchdog published loaddata as a start. No leading and worked great.
shot at 25meters with pillow on frontend, these loads got potentional, no leading at all
First shot was on me it was low.
