Ambidextrous shooting.

Well, I got around to mounting a scope on the Marlin 60. I could never get a good cheek weld, seems the comb was high or something.
Anyway while sighting the scope, I decided to try a little comparison between shooting righthand, my normal. Versus shooting lefthand a little out of the norm.
I have killed deer shooting LH, in fact a few.
This was only 35 yds.

That's an interesting result, Randy. I've never tried firing any of my rifles LH. Next rifle range day I may give it a try to see what result I get.

Had the same issue with my Marlin 60. Using the iron sights was a no go. I put a Burris on mine. Paid more for the scope than I did the rifle 8-) . I dont shoot that rifle near as much as I should but when I do the fun factor is always there. Its very accurate.

I can do it well shooting handguns but never tried it with rifles. Lefty here but shoot rifles right.

Nice shooting . I do a lot of things with either hand but have a right master eye.

I practice with pistol/revolver using strong and weak hand. I’m left handed and only shoot long gun left handed.

I could never be that accurate shooting left-handed without a rest or a tree to steady the firearm. I've made some contorted shots out of a tree stand because my left eye is so much weaker than my right. Years ago I went trap shooting with my boss; he used his left eye to point but shot right-handed. Darnedest thing I'd ever seen.

I competed in PPC and we had to shoot with both hands at 50 yards with handguns. Never did much weak hand shooting with the rifles. I am blind in the left eye. (Well, legally blind, 20/400 vision... ) Would make it harder to shoot the rifle left handed.
