Monday morning with SGC

This weekend, I found a gun rest to try out! Caldwell Handy Rest NXT at Gander Mountain for $24.
http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/p ... 723&r=view
It might be a little over kill for 25 yrds.....but it's light weight, comes apart easily and fits in my range bag! It worked good for me,
now I might have to go back to the 50 yrd range! I think it confirmed that my SGC is shooting high. Definitely worth 24 bucks!
Another hundred runs without any problems and a lot of fun!

Sounds great, ace! Glad the rest pegged your SGC sight in.
And your target POIs reflect how accurate that rifle really is....I also very much enjoy shooting my SGC.

50-yard range sounds like the next fun stop! Go for it. :D

Thanks for the report, ace. The SGC is very cool Henry and that bench rest is terrific! Congratulations.

I like that bench rest, would probably work out better than the one that I have.

That rest also has an attachment for handguns!
Looking forward to trying it too!

Good shooting sir. I have a different model of Handy rest. I like it for the light weight.

I like simple rests where the rifle just sits cradled in the center. I bought a sled and didn't feel like I was even shooting.

The little "mall Game Carbine" is probably the most fun 22 rifle I have shot. Wish I had one when I was a kid.
My SGC shot an inch high at 25 yards. I replaced the front sight with a .500" post sight from skinner. It just made it where I could adjust to point of aim at 25 yards. It is nice to know the bullet is going where I am aiming.

I zero mine a tad high at 25 yards with standard velocity. That will put it dead on at 50 and about the same "tad" low at 75 yards.
