Range Report: tired of Winter
My range setup being so close to the house is working out great as it tends to make me shoot almost daily. Seldom is a day at home when I don’t shoot.
I think the biggest problem is I didn’t get enough targets out before winter set in. All I have above snow is the frying pan at 50 yards and a bullet trap at 25 yards. This picture looks so much like my last dozen reports.

Spring like day here Gene,
54 degrees and full sun.
Gonna shoot these here shortly.
I just changed out the scope on that 30-30, had a 3x9 Nikon. Now it's wearing a Redfield Revolution 2x7, like the other store brand Marlin.

Randy, what are the rifles leaning against? Old style stereo cabinet? Looks nice. As do the rifles, of course.

No, it's the Ashley wood stove.
Thanks for the complement, Gene.

Re: Range Report: tired of Winter
Yep springtime in the 60's today around here but windy though. Going to air rifle plink at The Back Door while out grilling later and then down to my range tomorrow to shoot the Colt Anaconda since the cross draw holster came in the mail this morning from Mernickle.
Hope al have a great range day!

Re: Range Report: tired of Winter
I hear you Gene. We've escaped winter mostly in Upstate NY. Last night made up for it. We were advised 6" to a foot of snow. We got a little over 6" of wet, heavy snow. I just got in from snow blowing the driveway.
It's nice to have the range close to the house. I'm ready for Spring too. I'd rather mow the lawn than snow blow. More seat time.

Gene, Ive never lived in a place as populated as Seattle. It's got to be almost indescribable the difference between there and where you are now.

Re: Range Report: tired of Winter
Western Washington was nice back when Evans was governor and Foley was a senator. Woodinville was a remote area but now it’s populated with more people and with people I can’t stand.
Ogema and the Town of Hill which isn’t really a town at all is very rural. Price county only has 8 people per square mile. Of course there aren’t nearly as many opportunities here. Most people that grew up here and are now old are relatively poor yet there is very little poverty here like in Seattle. Here almost everyone is middle class. In Seattle you were either upper class or low class.

I’m thinking of building a barn type of garage.

Re: Range Report: tired of Winter
Great Spring evening last night. After grilling/eating the burgers I went back out as sun was starting to set and fired up the arcade along with the Co2 .177 Winchester pellet rifle. With the deck lighting on plinking away till the Co2 was empty! Close to pulling trigger on the Atgames Legend pinball machine to put in the shack. They have some Old West games for it.
