This afternoon I did a little more ammo comparison, same ammo as last week. This time though, a pair of scoped Marlins. First up was the 89c semi-auto, these were made from '53 through '61. Mine has no sn.

so I assume an earlier one. It has a 10 rd. mag. so I filled it each time.
Was shooting from the patio so 47, 48 yds.

Then I got the 25N out, it's a bolt action from '95, I also have it's big brother a 25MN which is a 22 mag., and from the same year.
That thing really liked the Tac. This one has a 7 rd. mag., so it was what I shot.

Nice shooting. Iām going to have to get some of that Norma ammo. It has been recommended to me for 22 mag and your LR ammo looks great.

Always enjoyed the Marlin bolt guns I've had over the years. Good work.
Yea, that Browning ammo is nothing more than Winchester bulk ammo. Never had much luck with it in any of my guns for more than plinking duty.

Randy, fine shooting. We've talked before about those 25N's; they are excellent bolt .22's. Sure like mine. Maybe I'll get 'er out and give it a look see.

The Norma Tac ammo doesnt do well in the Uberti 12 shot single action. Its hard to extract
