I don't worry about copper fouling just carbon.

Copper fouling is not a worry unless accuracy goes away. Im betting after 500 rounds that you will see an improvement.

I hope that it reduces in time also. I just have a hard time believing that any fouling left in a barrel over time is any good. This might be interesting reading:

I have 5 30-30's :o yes 5, 3 Marlins and 2 Winchesters.
I have never experienced that with any of these.
Hopefully it'll clear up with time.

Me too! I have shot about 150 rounds through it. Closer to 200 on my Marlin. My Marlin does get light fouling. But nothing in comparison to my Henry. And, I typically don't have to use a copper cleaner. Hoppe's No. 9 works fine. Yet, I do like how the Henry shoots. I am just no crazy about being on clean up detail.
