357 BBB

Post by dave77 » Sun Feb 12, 2023 10:45 pm

Shot it a little today, a youngster that was with us took my steel spinner at least 50, maybe 75 yards up the hillside. Haven't shot it for awhile but I was satisfied with my shooting. It's about a 5 inch round and I hit it 5 out of 10 shots.

I liked my Skinner peep when got first got it but my eyesight has gotten a little worse since then. I've always been able to shoot rifles with both eyes open but now I'm having a hard time seeing the front sight unless I block my left eye. I can't shut just my left eye (no problem shutting just my right eye, my ophthalmologist says it's a brain issue, you use the same muscles to shut one eye as you do to shut both eyes). Anyway I'm thinking of trying a red dot on it. I have one on my AR that I like that I could try on it before I buy one for it.

Getting old is a real inconvenience but also a privilege. Thankfully we have options and I hope the red dot works well.
