Backyard fun with some 22's

Nice morning here, already 60°.
A little plinking of the gongs. I wanted to run some of these standard velocity 22 through the old Marlin SA. I have been stock piling those this past year, 3 boxes here and there.
While I was at it I thought I would run a magazine full through the ole H001.
One of the Heritage revolvers wanted to play, couldn't manage a hit on the 4" with it, but I did bounce an aluminum can across the yard. š«Ø

The Marlin and Henry performed nicely.

PS, the Henry slings the brass farther than the sa.

Darn good way to start the day Randy. Fun looking trio there. I'll be doing some of that Thursday in the desert.
Randy, those ear muffs, those the electronic ones? Thinking of getting one.

Nice randy. Any day one can get out with the 22 is a great day. No brass to pick up no reloading. 22 still one of my favorites to shoot. On a side note Tom those ear muffs are great I just dont care to wear them when rifle shooting as they get in the way.

Tom, those are not, I do have a pair, but I just grabbed those right quick.
I like the small ones that just go in the ears, these were just handy.
And I was just plinking, nothing very serious.
I did go back inside and grabbed the Wrangler and ran a little side by side with the Heritage.
12 yds. 2 hands, nothing great, but the Ruger liked the CCI better than the Thunderbolts for sure.
And I still probably don't have a 100 rds. through the Wrangler.

That's one of the good things about the Wrangler, regular BH/Vaquero grips interchange.
I picked up those and another pair on a benefit auction last year.
Those that I got from you last year would probably look good on it, but I like 'em better on the shiny Vaquero best.

Awesome Randy. Looking forward to so similar fun! I'm Still jealous.
In response to Tom's question about ear muffs, I have a pair of the Walker Razor electronic ones and really like them for handgun shooting. Like Al said though, for rifle shooting, they get in the way.
