Golden boy vs Chinese weather balloon

Buster started barking at something in the backyard tree but I didn't see nuthin then saw that Chineese weather balloon over our property here in South Carolina, I loaded up some CCI Mini mags and squeezed off a round, the sun was in my eyes so I missed. I put my polarized motorcycle riding goggles on and that really helped, I squeezed off another round but forgot to account for the wind drift, I calculated wind drift at a half mile to the left and dropped the hammer ..BULLSEYE.. I emptied the tube and the weather balloon lost altitude and slowed down enuf so the Air force could hit it, I sure do like them Skinner peep sights..

Wonder if it floated over RR's area? He would have popped it with that long range black powder boomer!

Sure glad we got it AFTER it traversed the entire country.
I bet China was thinking, thank you very much; now you can shoot it down.

Was it a F-16 that took it down? Embarrassed to say I’m not very smart regarding fighters. I did make a comment to my wife that I wonder how the pilot was selected. I sure hope it was a reward for some prior good deeds. I’m sure even tho it probably was a pretty simple shot all pilots would have wanted to have the honor.
