well it sure isn't anything like RR's, that is for Sure.
Not too bad with the Rossi with a few high and off the paper.

As you can see, I'm not much of an offhand shooter.
A nd the Marlin showed pretty much the same results. I just can't get that cheap peep of forty's to work well, I know it is me.
All shots way high and right.

Now while I was digging the Cowboy out of the backside of the safe.
I decided to drag the old Winnie 94 classic out, as it's been a while since I put any rounds through it.
Found three of my 170gr hunting loads and gave it a go, not bad I'd say.
Anyway it was fun, a bit chilly with the wind whipping up pretty good.
Oh yeah these were from the picnic table so around 55 yds.
Today's toys, I mean tools.

Thanks, little easier when you just walk out in the yard and Blast

away.
Phone says 39, but feels like 31.
Forgot to mention the load was 6.0 grs. of Trail boss under a 200gr rfn bullet.

Well the rifles look REALLY good ! How big did the red target dot look to be from 50 in relation to the front sight?
I'm not much shooting off a bench or hitting a small bulls eye from 50 yds but put an object out there and I can hit it most times.
Keep trying though!

Forty, I just added that big ole orange when I reached for the 30-30.
It did make it a bit easier I believe, but still looked rather small for these 60+ yr. old eyes.
That front sight needs a touch of paint, as it it hard to see against that white-ish paper.
Hey, forty, when shooting at the gong, I never missed
What da heck?
