Range Report: morning plinking
The sun is barely up and I’ve already gotten some rounds down range. This time it’s my Mare’s Leg and CCI SV at the 35 yard bullet trap. My range is barely set up but these traps work great for when I don’t want to put the snowshoes on and put out paper. I’ve also learned the blowing pattern of the snow. Just wait till summer!
The pellet spinners in the foreground barely see action. Being able to shoot rimfire feet from my back door has changed my home shooting from when I lived in Washington.

I can see how the move has helped. It must be a great relief to be able to shoot and not have neighbors getting irate.
