A range Thanksgiving recipe.........

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Nov 22, 2022 7:21 pm

Yes Turkey time coming but we had to substitute liquid ham for the turkey but it all worked out well with friends! :D

The recipe... 2 parts ham with some great Navy beans along with a side of an Orange Crush and Reddi Whip topping all mixed with a touch
of M-1 Carbine! Found all the outdated ingredients cleaning out the old fridge and cabinet. My range neighbor Dave stopped by to help with the mixing! Hope you all can enjoy a great Thanksgiving too! Enjoy! https://youtu.be/6xyvBhKpMks

Yep one of us went a touch low on the can of beans! :D

Your neighbor looks like a character, love that butt hanging out of his mouth and the M1 Carbine in his hands. A great pic indeed. :D

Oh yes he is a character and being a transplant from the North about 17 yrs. ago! He seems to get into some troubles at times with a gun that won't shoot or a part flies out of it....stories to tell... but this day his M1 was running fine.

However he often rides down on his lawn tractor with a deck that doesn't go up far enough for trail use and sure enough he got hung up on a small stump while we were checking my trail cameras. Got him loose with a long piece of pipe I had laying along a trail.

Not yet. The ammo was plain ol' PPU and it shot well. I have some American Eagle and other brands plus a good stash of South Korean surplus ammo I bought before things went crazy.
