The "Right Stuff" 45 Colt shooter......

Spent a chilly breezy afternoon with a Smith&Wesson that Smith got right... the 25-7 Model of 1989 Colt 45 shooter.
Brought along 4 of my loads and setup a plate target at 9 yds and all shots to be double action only. My left hand finger joint all back to normal but
used my shooting glove anyway...it was a breezy 45 F today.
Amazing that whatever of my loads today including the short 45 Colt Cowboy Specials all went into nice tight groups...I wore out the center with the
Cowboy Special loads just to shoot most of them up. Had made these for a Ruger New Vaquero .45 ACP revolver I used to have.
Smith got all things right with this run of revolver back in 1989 and it puts them all right there without fuss plus shoots lead bullets spotless clean too!
I loved those 260 gr WFN cast bullets loaded with 8.8 Unique and they carry some punch down range....great woods load! The thing just shoots anything good! Had one of my 260 gr. loads with an older Starline case split and guess it had been used quite a bit as this is a standard Colt loading but at the top.
Yep this one isn't going anywhere!
Also after some heavy rain several days ago my creek is back to normal for now and after checking my trail camera I had 50 videos of a good group of deer running around bucks of 2 4 6 and 8 point and several doe. Yes a fantastic range afternoon today!
