A trail of 45's
Yes a great day for August, 70's and low humidity, to get out and try my new trail bike and shoot a good pair of Henry 45's.
Brought along the Ranch Hand and my first .45 six shooter the Ruger New Vaquero too! Took a ride around the range area and down the trail to the creek. The bike rode well https://youtu.be/UN68L9Lp42s along the tight trail areas and I didn't hit anything or fall off!
Then some plinking fun with the Henry 45 X and the 45 Carbine. Both of those shot well from varying distances with my 255 gr. Red Dot load or Unique. Was a great day to get out and shoot after last several weeks of heat and humidity!

Like it very much the action is smooth and solid and found it in the Used gun section at the LGS back in 2010. Ruger built a good one back in 2005!

Thanks for r to asking me along on the bike ride. Now I know why yo uh put in the bridges. I was also wondering if you could draw the Ranch Hand while in the seat and you showed how easily you could get to it.
I need one!

You need a rifle scabbard on that thing.
Some nice shooting also, those ole Rugers are built like tanks.
I have a pair of Vaqueros, 44 and 45.

Re: A trail of 45's
Well I would have to figure out where to mount the longer rifle given the short ride height of the mini bike....might turn into a trenching machine with the barrel being longer!
Then again the suppressor mounted on the Ranch Hand would be sweet and might look at that again. There is a shop out in the mid west that threads the barrel in a CNC mill setup that doesn't require the barrel to be removed. The Rossi Ranch Hands haven't been made in several years and now going for 800-1000 bucks if you find one. Have to make sure it is done right.

Glad you enjoyed the ride Gene and it was fun! Over the winter I plan on clearing out a bit more trail area down the other end of creek and would like to loop it around the backside woods of the property.
Are you looking for a mini bike or the mare's leg?

Re: A trail of 45's
Gene I saw where Tractor Supply still has the BT200 in stock! All the mini bikes disappeared from the Coleman Powersports site. Glad I pulled the trigger quick on that one.
