6" steel @50 yds

My Frontier flintlock, .50 cal. Great day at the range, 85F and sunny. We are still pretty green here due to a wet spring, and the odd rain here and there since. Very lucky.

50 yds off hand, my little 6" steel plate....

More great shooting. We keep hearing about the drought and fires out west, so glad things are still green up there.

August can be a hot dry one, but so far the long range forecast doesn't look too bad.

Some great solid hits on that plate RR! What is the gr. weight of that lead ball?

.490 ball = 177 gr according to Speer
