Nice overcast day, great for shooting. 65F and my Frontier flintlock in .50 cal.

.490 patched ball
.50 grains GOEX 2fg

50 yds off hand

Haha, I should dust them off one of these days. I might load up some black powder cartridges for the 1860 Henry.

Nothing like ringing the steel with a big chunk of lead! Almost needed ear plugs for the steel and not the rifle today.

My experience with 32 cal and 36 cal MLs is that fouling would have to be a serious issue with a 22 cal flinter. It was bad enough with the 32 and 36. I'm far from an expert, though.

Ya fouling would be an issue I think too. Besides, I like big holes in stuff I shoot.... :)
