Fathers Day range fun........

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Jun 21, 2022 1:03 pm

Had a great afternoon with son Chad at the range. First time he got to shoot my Ruger 1911 with the suppressor and he did well with it.
He gave me some of these formed cardboard head/shoulder targets along with gel type splatter bags you can tape or staple in place.
I got one good hit in the nose and the green splatter went everywhere especially the target creep's eyes!

His birthday coming up next week and he might find a 9mm piston for the Banish 45 can and some subsonic 9mm ammo!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I don't remember where it was on paper but it hit the steel good. Will get it out next time at the range.

Shooting clays on the bank at 25 yards mine tends to be high with most 36 gr hp ammo. Haven’t tried 40 gr round nose yet. I have some mini mags and velocitors.
