My Frontier flintlock at 50 yds off hand today, love the steel when it rings!
A bit of a wind today but I am getting much more comfortable with the new flintlock. Aim, set trigger, light touch on front trigger....and hold, hold hold.

Shoot safe, and often, RR

Outstanding, RR. That hold, hold, hold routine is also one of the secrets of shooting a springer airgun with accuracy.

Light on the trigger and hold. If I don’t the results are always the same. Disappointing.

I gotta ask, when you rang the church did anybody show up for the service?

There were a couple of crows there but that’s about it.

Never shot a flintlock. Looks like you enjoy it. Not sure I could hold it up long enough to aim.

Just wondering, do you have mountinman rendezvous in your area? When I lived in Utah in early 80's, we liked going to them. Fort Bridger was a big one.

We have something similar but not 100% PC/HC. I am going to one in July. More of a black powder shoot that encourages period attire. The Popo Agie in Riverton Wyo is on my bucket list. Maybe next year.
