I moved my gong over so I can see it from the table and set out a target in a bullet trap. Three shots later and I discovered I was shooting way low and getting ricochets. Not good as my bullets must impact the hill. At least they did collect in the trap and I was getting one ragged skid in the earth.

You can barely see the target to the left of the further black hanger.

I’m getting closer. One more three shot group and I should be a lot closer. My bench is wobbly and that’s not helping my group. Plus I’m not trying my best as I’m more concerned about getting it zeroed.

nice. I've noticed as much as 14 inches of point of impact shift in various rounds of 22lr. I've had two sets of norma tac 22 shift over 7 inches left of one.
I spent a summer of 2014 trying to chase down a good load by brick. It was a wast of time. Now I buy a case, and sight in the rifle to that case of ammo. It isn't a perfect solution, but it keeps me mostly on target.

20 clicks up and three to the right. Three shots as the hole on the left is 2.

I don’t think this scope was ever sighted-in. I bought it about two months before I left Washington.

Yeah, I have done that a time or two.
The last time I took Kriss vector, I realized I had not sighted in my new red dot. only after shooting 100 rounds of 40sw. I spent another 50 rounds trying to get it zero'd before I realized I had thumb tightened the reddot on the rail

I had breakfast and it changed my shooting. Also the scope was adjusted too far. With food inside Mt stomach my heart rate increased and I’m finding it difficult to shoot between heartbeats.
I pulled the shot in the 10 ring. It’s zeroed where the two shots are. I think. I’m going to rest and digest for an hour.

Really like those Leupold 3i series scopes. It's been way, way too windy for any shooting over here this last week.

Today is the first day the wind hasn’t blown although sometimes at dusk it settles down. I’m going back out in a few minutes.

I used my Nikon Aculon to measure the distance and when I moved it to the right I was at 48 yards so I set it back. The front plate is still at 48.

The official measurement line is where the bricks end and the concrete begins. It started to rain and then snow so the chairs were wet. I end up standing with the bipod legs on the table.

Now I’m low so I split the number of clicks. I should be zeroed now or maybe one click off. My group widened as I’m getting tired.
