Shooting Steel

Post by Shakey Jake » Thu Apr 07, 2022 11:33 am

Decided to shoot some steel with the Browning T-bolt this morning. There's a string wind blowing directly in my face but it will be fun anyway.

I actually did quite well. The farthest steel is 200 yards and with the Burris 4.5X16 scope and holding high I was able to hit it 3 out of 5 times. It made me a bit giddy! I was shooting CCI Stingers.

That's some fine work with the 22 LR. Congrats.

Yup, I love shooting steel as well. Instant feedback. :P

Love that steel shooting also. Are those stingers pretty accurate Jake? Have you shot them on paper?

If you sight in with regular LR ammo the stingers will shoot higher due to the velocity. I like shooting them but there are others who like the Velocitors better.
