13 gr Unique
405gr MBC #1 Buffalo Coated
Temp: 90
Win LR Mag
10 shot group
Range: 100yds
High: 1052
Low: 978
AV: 1013

3.6" group.
This group was strung vertically. Horizontally it was 1.4" wide. FPS increased shot after shot so velocity accounts for the vertical. Barrel prob warmed enough to account for the velocity. I was sweating so bad I rushed through shooting once every 6-10 seconds. There were no flyers on my account.

ours will run a vertical string as the barrel heats .... for hunting, that's seldom a problem ....

Shoot that load like a muzzle loader or air gun . Long barrel time cause vertical string which is moving gun before it is out of the barrel. Try reg large pistol primers , the primer seat a little deeper but there should not be any problems and try loading to 14.0 . GOOD REPORTS

I've been shooting the MBC 300 + 405 with between 10 + 12 gr Unique. Very soft recoil.

300 MBC 10gr =1030fps 12gr =1170fps
405 MBC 10gr = 925fps 12gr =1030fps

I'm also liking the 350 gr Berry's copper plated in my 45/70. 11gr =921fps.

Just be careful. Those torpedo cases will hold a lot of Unique. Easy to double or triple charge.

When I put powder in any case I put the bullet in the case right now and seat it before charging the next case . You can't get a double or miss charge that way .
