Well I got some bullets from a fellow member, Hornady 250gr xtp's 45 cal. A member of another forum and good friend tried these in his new Henry CCH 45 colt. So I wanted to try them in my Marlin and Rossi rifles. He was using 2400, and I have a good bit of it on hand. Loads were 19.8, 20.0, and 20.2, and it seems both rifles preferred different loads. Distance was about just a little more than 50yds.
First off was the Marlin

aiming at the top dot, believe it a bit low but a good group. then the hole with the circle was after a small adjustment, which wasn't enough. So after 2 more notches we got the 4 above.

That was a good load test Randy. I use the 20 grain load for the hotter rounds of Colt 45 with that bullet also.

The diamond just mess's with my eye's, I can turn it around, but I want to try the redneck peep first.

I like "Cheap Peep" the best!

Using High Speed blade material it was designed to cut thru the tough market of expensive lever rifle peep sights!!

Very cool on the sight AND being able to shoot your 45 in the backyard. Hey, I think we need to have a poll on what to name forty's peep.
