Some Father's Day black powder fun....

Just 6 rounds today on a 50 yd target. No wind, ideal conditions. That sure makes a difference.

Frontier .50 caliber long rifle
50 grains Triple 7 powder
.490 Speer lead ball
.015 patch

50 yds off hand....man I love shooting this rifle. :D

Shoot safe, and have fun!

If I could shoot like that, I'd love that rifle, too. :)

Thanks, but with that long 40" barrel, the front sight would be too small for me to see without binoculars.
