I will be shooting the QB78S most of the day. Nothing really exciting here folks. Just a relaxed day after four sixteen hour days gardening.

It took me a while to a-line the sights and I was shooting heigh. When it took this picture it was aimed at the groups not the center. When I rechecked with my eye it was dead center. That I found interesting.

I need to start tagging my firearms or keep a log. I can’t remember what the QB was sighted at or more important what ammo I was using.

I made an adjustment after the first high shot that went directly below. Then lowered it again and got closer. Close enough to take another shot that went left; then the last shot went right.

I’m taking 15 minute break and will go back at it.

Three rounds benchrest at 25 yards. It looks like two.

Another elevation and this time also windage and three more shots. Looks like I adjusted a tad too much.

Okay I make a two click adjustment to elevation and one to windage and shot the bullseye. Then I pulled the second and third shot.

I did not pull any of these shots. Odd that I picked up where I was shooting last and came back to zero with no adjustment.

Thanks. It’s a labor of love. This is the first summer the range and kitchen is fully functional.

It’s really quite trashy. I’m going for the trailer park trash look in an upper middle-class neighborhood.

Those are beer growlers. Yes the sun is nice.....till about noon then it’s too hot! Yesterday I got dehydrated and didn’t realize it. Today I had lots of melons.

I can understand your number of hours spent working on the landscaping, it’s beautiful. Loving all that green.

I too just this spring made a log of my POA’s on various rifles. I was starting to forget what was sighted at 50 and what at 100 and if dead on or 2” high from the bullseye. So I made a log for my range bag for every rifle with the ammo details and the point of aim/impact. This getting old sucks.

Upper Middle Class Trailer Trash, what’s not to like about that? :D

Most people do keep logs. I use to put a tag on the trigger guard telling me distance and ammo the rifle was sighted at. At one point I had so many different ones I was shooting it was the only way not to have figure it all out again.

Nice sign and shooting! Looks like a cool place to hang out. Seems like a slice of America in your own backyard.

What a cool place to shoot you have! Love all the colors and interesting way you've decorated.

The only log I've ever kept on all our many guns is a current list of guns and serial numbers for the sake of insurance. As for keeping track of how all our guns are sighted in, I no longer bother. I've adjusted sights so often that it's now a matter of a few shots to get dialed in for the distance at hand. That's a skill that's served me well, because I flat out don't have time to keep a detailed log on how our guns shoot. That, and I have a good memory for what each gun likes and does not like as far as ammo or pellets. One thing I do like about using scopes with AOs is that I can check the AO to see the distance I was shooting on the last outing.

Been gone awhile because the old computer died and I've been having a devil of a time getting logged back on with the new one. Dave to the rescue though, so all is well.

Gene, I always thought there ought to be one somewhere, and you have created it. A shooters Paradise! Well done, my friend. I'm proud & envious.
