Marlin 783

Post by Shakey Jake » Fri May 28, 2021 5:58 pm

Took the Marlin to the range yesterday and fired 100 rounds. I got tired of making a hole in 50 yard target so spied a fairly clean 100 yard target that someone left hanging. I put an "X" over the "holes" I didn't make. I don't think this was too bad for a .22 WMR with and old "TV" style Redfield 2X7 scope. I had to replace the batteries in my old camera and forgot to change the date. This was 05-27-2021.

Looks like meat in the pot with anyone of those shots at a 100 yards. Good shooting Jake.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

The 783's are some pretty nice shooting rifles. Looks good to me.
Never owned one myself but I've heard they were pretty darn accurate.
I like the tube feed, I have a 25 NM. It's a pretty fair shooter, and I have extra mags.

I'd say that 100 yd target is nothing to sneeze at. Thats some fine shooting their Jake.
