Re: Marlin model 60 Range report
Father in law has a model 60. Had it for years (and years). I’ve bought parts and kept it running for a while now. As Al noted with iron sights is pretty hard to line up. My son went through a few optics to relieve the iron site issue until he found a nice 4X and popped it on. Thousands of rounds later the silly thing is still a pretty dang good shooter. Must be the micro groove thing. I’ve left target .22’s out there for him, .17’s - etc. But when he sees a critter that needs dispatched or just feels like plinking at the steel we put out there for him he grabs the Marlin. Go figure - a man and his rifle.

Re: Marlin model 60 Range report
Very nice grouping. Going to go to the range and shoot my 783 this afternoon. The general wants to try his luck at shooting his .308 at 200 yards. I'll stick with either 50 or 100 with the .22 WMR.
