Burned up some 22

Post by Centaur » Wed May 05, 2021 6:00 pm

Another fun session with the H001. Bought some 22 a few days ago, and thought I should use some of it. Once again, the little lever gun brought a smile to my face. I am continually amazed with its accuracy, and the Skinner peep makes it that much better. If there is a better plinker out there I’d like to see it.

There is something very satisfying about the action and sound of a lever rifle. The sound of the spent round ejecting, then the lever hits the bottom of the travel, followed by the new round going into battery. Squeeze the trigger and repeat. ;)
