The Single Six Bisleys were a limited production version of the Single Six and never very common. They were one of the few New Models that never came with the extra 22 mag cylinder, but were still more expensive than a standard Single Six with the extra cylinder. The one you see, here, was actually one of only thousand or so with the fixed sights and fluted cylinder. Very rare. Most Single Six fans have never seen one. The most common version had the adjustable sights and the unfluted cylinders. My husband and I both love shooting ours.

I think I got you beat on the rare single six handguns. I have a 50's vintage single six that says 22 RF magnum on the frame, and came with a spare 22LR cylinder. shoots well.

Those 50s 22 mag marked versions are indeed, rare. I have a 1958 vintage 22 LR only version with a true 22 LR bore size, but that one has me beat. Great gun.

Yup, especially those hot CCI Mini Mag 22 LRs.

I suspect the idea was to supply a 22 LR version for folks who had a centerfire Bisley.
