Sir Henry...anytime you can get out to the East coast stop on by the Black Branch (creek) Range.
No fees for friends and no charge on refreshments. Targets...anything that comes to mind...paper,steel,pumpkins,whatever!

That sounds like my kind of range :D

My kind of place to shoot. Some folks would not enjoy that kind of shooting but I sure would.

The woods are the 'roots' of shooting. Its what it's all about as far as I am concerned and how I grew up.

I couldn't imagine anyone not liking it. Free, natural light and targets and no RSOs!

Ojai -

You quoted Mags and my statement about my location but posted nothing else.

Did you want to add anything?

I like the simple primitive type shooting range and my club has several of them. Take in every thing you need and take every thing you took in back out with you. We can shoot metal spinners and other targets on our own target holders. I like the simple range we have but some guys won't shoot there because the benches don't suit them or they have to set up there own target holders and so on. I am just an old hick that grew up shooting on these kind of places we still shoot at. Simple dirt back stops at 25 -50-and a 100.

Don't have no fancy rifle racks but they work fine.

I shoot from a shelf standing put there for me because of low back pain when sitting to shoot. My old Remington even shoots Thunder Duds very well.
