Actually, I am fairly certain that is not the case as I probably have more money in my reloading stuff than I would ever spend on the ammo. The advantage is, if you have the components to reload, you will still have ammo and be able to shoot when there are shortages and or price spikes in ammo. Plus, you can work up custom loads that work best for you and your rifle. And, lastly, I just find it fun and relaxing, especially when the weather is too bad to shoot. I can just crank out ammo to be used when the weather improves!
